Medical/Harm Reduction TeamLeaders: Dr. Grant Varian, Steve Marshall, Tammy Allison, Tara Bair
Looking at the issue from a Medical/ Public Health perspective to pursue areas of impact that can reduce OD deaths and provide services/supports that improve opportunities for successful recovery: increased MAT providers, patient education and provider prescribing education and awareness.

Legal/Advocacy TeamLeaders: Chief Brandon Standley, Steve Terrill, Annette Deao
Looking at the issue from the law enforcement, courts and legal advocacy perspective. Working to reduce the drug supply, increase consequences for dealers and developing relationships with legislative reps that can provide resources/opportunities for Logan County. Increasing accountability and supports for those involved in the criminal justice system to reduce recidivism and relapse ie: OD Response Teams

Prevention/Education TeamLeaders: Ceci Yelton, Denyse Bayliss
Looking at the issue from an awareness and education perspective on a public health level. Emphasizing prevention as a key strategy for changing community outcomes. Efforts target reducing the number of people engaging in misuse of Rx drugs or other substances, Rx Drug Take Back Events, development of Drug Free Youth Council.

Treatment/Recovery Supports Team![]() Leaders: Jeannie Dempster, Jan Rhoades, Ashley Baker, Reuben Mees
Looking at the issue from a continuum of treatment and long term Recovery Supports. This includes increased access to MAT, improved integrated care with medical/tx communities, recovery housing, peer supports, and faith based supports.
